Vibratory feeder bowls are possibly the most versatile, cost effective orienting devices on the market due to their efficiency, reliability and durability. The feeder bowl does the actual orienting and feeding. It is the heart of the system. The feeder bowl is custom tooled to a specific part with a designated feed rate and a particular orientation. Feeder bowls are almost always round and constructed of 11 gauge stainless steel - type 304 (316 for FDA applications). Balancing of feeder bowls is standard to prevent dead spots in tooling.
